International Training in Bavaria
The IHK-Akademie organises seminars, expert talks and company/plant visits for foreign delegations. We present Bavarian know-how and innovations as well as facilitate personal contacts for future business development. Recent projects included a programme for a North African delegation in connection with a visit at the IFAT Entsorga (trade fair for environmental technology). The participants visited a Biogas plant and a waste incinerating plant and met with experts to ask questions on these subjects.
Train-the-Trainer
The IHK-Akademie supports the international training of VET professionals and in-company trainers to facilitate an international Best Practice exchange between participants. We train foreign trainers and organise lectures and company visits for foreign delegations in Bavaria. We also cooperate with the TUM School of Education in a programme that gives Bavarian in-company trainers the possibility to participate in a one-week seminar in Europe.
Programme Bayern-Fit for Partnership (BFP)
Further training and export promotion are the focal points of the programme which is implemented on behalf of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology. This programme is specifically designed for foreign managers to get in contact with local companies. Participants are interested to learn about the latest standards, production techniques and recent scientific findings. Participants are invited to Bavaria where the programme takes place. It is coordinated by Bayern International and the IHK-Akademie organises some of the projects. Some examples of recent projects include: Medical Technology (with Egypt), Biogas (with Ukraine), New Technologies in the Construction Industry (with Tunesia).
Training International goes abroad
By realizing different projects together with international partners the IHK Academy aims on transferring education “made in Germany” to partner countries. Thanks to this transfer of know-how German companies can be sure to find well qualified labour force abroad.
For example, the expertise of the IHK Academy is currently being implemented in Angola:
Within a partnership project between the Munich Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Associação Industrial de Angola (Angolan Industry Association) is being built a vocational training centre which will be set up based on sustainability.
The objective is to provide the business location Angola, which is an extremely attractive location even for international companies, with well qualified labour force.
